Model type: MB 250D

Hi,

I cant find the 250D from 87 in the search model tool here.. what chassis type is it ? I allways figured it was the w124, but cant find it under that one..

And another q.

Is there eny place where i can search for parts and part numbers for that model.. there's a few items i need to restor a 250D and dont want to rely on a resale office to fint my parts for me..

In the US that would have been a 300D 2.5 turbo and it is a 124. That was the period of confusing US nomenclature; don't know about the rest of the world.

To the best of my knowledge there was no 250 D in 1987, at least not in the US market. In that year the w124 300 D was available with the OM603 engine. In 1990 the 124 300 D returned to the US market with a 2.5 L diesel (OM602) until 1993.

My bad. The 2.5 did exist in the 124 (and 190), so I assumed that was the engine in the US. I guess that makes it a Euro, with all the associated fun.
