CD Changer installation

I have 2002 C240 and bought cd changer(A 203 820 90 89)model MC3010 on ebay. It's suppose to mount in glove box but found fiber cable in trunk with 4-pin power plug. Unit has 3-pin connection.

Is a 3-pin connector in dash at radio? If so, how do I connect.
What's installment time or would I be better off to get dealer to install?[:(]

RE: CD Changer installation

My notes say that the 3010 is the right changer. Not sure about the power plug.

I think I would check with a good auto stereo shop before I would let the dealership touch anything.

Good luck.

Yes , I have the AUDIO10 CC and the MC3010.
There is no power plug behind the radio on my C220CDi !! and I don´t know how to buy the power plug and how to connect it
I have seen on the web that power plug has a brown cable is (-) , a black one which is (+) and blue one which is the "wake up signal " , but where do I have to take the wake up signal ?? ( from the radio?), and what is the color?

Come on, the head unit does not work from holy spirit, it must have a power plug. You probably mean it does not have a power connector for the CD changer. That is the case.

Most wakeup wire colour is PK, pink.

Concerning D2B loop , I need to start from the red light in the Audio10 ---> goes to the rear of the car ( to white light ) , come from "red light" fron the rear of the car ----> need to go to the white led of the CD , finally red light of CD to the white of the radio.

Is it right ?

Could you post the exact car model you are working on. I believe I looked at the wiring diagram of a C220 CDI assuming this was your car.

Which reference did you use for the blue colour?

My car is a C220CDI.
I need the power plug connector for the MC3010 ( A203 820 90 89) ,
this power plug has 3 pins . this connector has 3 pins , 1st pin is brown cable (-) to be connected on pin 6 ont the C connector ( Audio 10 ) , pin 2 is black cable ( + ) to be connected on the pin 5 on the C connector , and pin 3 is a blue cable ( wake up)to be connected on pin 4 on the C conector.
My difficulty is to find the power plug .
Is somebody able to tell me if it is A029 545 55 28 ?
This is my main concern actually.
