RE: Garage Door closes as I'm backing out?
WOW bet that freaks you out when you start to move.
Imagine that sucker crashing into your roof.
LOL, do you floor it to get out or back up to stay in?
When does it start to come down?
After you start the motor or when you put it into reverse.
You should have a safety light beam near the floor that cuts the power when something breaks it.
Also the door should have a safety feature that when it hits something on the way down it will go back up.
This can be adjusted at the closer motor box. Adjustment from a light touch to a heavy touch is available. If the beam is not working or non existent add it to your system.
If the pressure bar is not working get a new door the control box is messed up.
These 2 features are standard on all new doors.
I believe it is required by building codes.
