E 320 Lugnut/Rim Conversion Problem...Help

I have a 1998 E320. I just purchased 17"authentic MBZ rims that came off a 2003 E320. The lugnuts from my 98 will not work with the new wheels. The lug pattern is the same, but Mercedes changed the bolt size in 2003. My old lugs are narrower in diameter so they will not seat tight in the new wheels. THE MBZ bolts designed for the 2003 rims are fatter in shaft diameter, so the threads will not fit into my rotors. I am aware that this is a problem that may not be able to be fixed, but hopefully someone has come across this before and can offer some advice and or solution. Thanks in advance for any input.

Ooops,
may be I'm too late in replying to your thread, however, I just came across the benzworld forum yesterday.

We carry the bolts you need. To be precise: MB changed the fasteners on W210 from M12X1.5 R12 seat to M14X1.5 R14 seat on W211.
If you want to use new W211 wheels on the old E-class (W210), you need our part # 21-5-26KU28 (UL26mm, R14 ball seat).
If you are still interested please contact me again.
Sincerely.
Rolf

Agree, I did this conversion over a year ago 2000 E Class with 2004 E500 Rims. Used different lug nuts.

Good luck

PURE Motorsport carries these bolts.

Orr you can just cut your bolts shorter .I put 2005 E500 sport wheels on my 1996 w210 E320 and what they did was trim my bolts down.My original bolts obviously fit right ,but they were too long .They shaved them and now they are perfect. When i sold those rims to a fellow e320 owner ,i gave him the bolts. He is happy as well lol.(Don't get me wrong If your not freindly with a shop ,nor the shop wanna waste their time shaving bolts,I guess you can just buy the right ones)[:D]
