Bringing US spec '03 back to EU?

I have to move to Europe (prob. France or Switzerland) for work, can I bring my 2003 C 32 with me or will it be too much trouble? I plan on spending at least five years there. Should I sell it here and get another one there?

Personally I would sell it before you leave. I had a 1994 Honda Accord EX (American Specs) when I was stationed in Spain and when I took it to the mechanics to get parts or work they would shy away because it was American Specs and the Euro specs are different. Also your speedometer for a 2003 is in mph and doesn't have the kph in the back ground of your speedometer. If your good in math and can quickly convert the kph to mph your good to go because there's a lot of traffic cams that will mail your speeding ticket to you. Finally if your not U.S. military because of the Status Forces Agreement with the host nation you'll find yourself paying VAT which is European TAX and it's 16% of the vechile's value, plus local municipal taxes to drive your vehicle. Finally consider buying a good used vehicle in Europe during your stay in the old country.
