air filter/ gasoline

Hi again, 95 c-280. How and where is the dust filter in my car and how do i change it? It,s listed on the window sticker when the car was new. Still not sure what gas to run.... sunoco/plus or amanco/plus? I made a trip to Charolette about a month ago and used amanoco/ prem.and the check engine light is on. Thanks...

RE: air filter/ gasoline

I doubt your use of Amoco prem would cause your check engine light to come on. It’s a very good fuel. Any “name brand gasoline is fine, use the grade recommended in your owner’s manual. Many members, including myself, use Shell V Power to keep fuel injectors clean; Chevron with Techron should also be considered. In the older cars like mine the check engine light is an indicator that the 02 sensor is bad.
