Dear Storm,

I use a L/R station-wagon every day for work, have done for years. Fantastic off-road, and always gets you home, but always something falling off. The appropriate word is 'agricultural'.

Back to Mercs, I've had four since 1996 to present, now have an S430 new in 2001. Great cars and wish I had experienced earlier quality as mentioned here and in 'Mercedes Enthusiast'.

Sometimes you have to have a BM, Lexus or other to confirm you were better off with a Mercedes. So, drive one for a while, and we'll see you again later.

In 8 years of high mileages thorugh Europe, never had one issue. They're the best today, in my opinion.

Mike
MIke,

I guess I'm just p*ssed off because of what happened to my G-wagen,.... thanks for the decent response, I guess I just needed time to calm down. My modern mercs are all great but I know that they wont last 30 years like some of my parents mercs, so I guess I'll just enjoy them while I can.[8D]

Easy
