You might consider perfecting your craft in a large sized Industrial center parking lot. Having spent a lot of time practicing "the art of sliding' or 'the art of doughnuts' 30+ years ago, rainy days are best, snowy even better. Whatever happens is at a MUCH lower speed!
The only problem today, that I can see: We live in a litigious society. Which means (to me) that a security guard at 'Whatever Company' sees someone out in the W Co. parking lot on a Sunday doing doughnuts or whipping around......... They are probably going to call the local police........ [:(]
That said, Practice, Practice, Practice........ It is fun!
Then there are the high performance driver schools: Barber, Bondourant, etc. ........
