There are no winner in any crash. It is better to have a crumbled up car and still walk away.

Get the CLK430 or the CLK55 AMG...
I had one, loved the look, hated the electronics. The feature where the windows would only work sometimes and when checked turned out to have sedan hardcode programming [reflashed three times] and the sunroof that suffered from the same flawed convenience module, never recalled or redesigned by MB. Several other electronics issues made the buy back by the dealer a pleasure.

Being smart is knowing the difference, in a sticky situation between a well delivered anecdote and a well delivered antidote - bear.

Bahhhh! You just got a rotten one! I haven't had problems like that myself and I have one from the initial run, the lines on the 208 are sexy though.

You should give it another chance, if you happen to be thinking about it anyway.

i've driven the w208, have a w209, have a r171, have a w126, mom had a w124, dad has a w210, we had a w163, driven a w140, driven r129. i think i've covered all the major models for benz in those years, and more...

my vote is 6.0 widebody SEC. the ultimate mercedes! style, power, simplicity, rarity.

eddie aka cyberdrakon aka drakon

SLK 55 AMG widebody (2006), C36 AMG (1995), 420 SEL (1989)
