I think, in the long run, I'd rather pay $15,000 for a bad Benz than $15,000 for a good cheese sandwich.
Either one will give you indigestion from time to time [:D]

RE: EBAY experiences -- want to talk about it?

I had an ok time with my Ebay experience back in July when I bought my 2001 SLK320. Going in I felt this car was worth about $30,000 in New England for a 6 speed, and mileage at 32,000. I felt the dealership where I bought it from in TX was lazy and I had to make tons of calls. I was on the phone with them almost everyday finding out what was going on. I had the car inspected from a 3rd party and I recommend doing this even if you are buying a car down the street. The cost was $150 and he found things I never would have. The bottom line is stay on top of your car and keep asking questions especially after you own in. I purchased this car for $26,000 and am very pleased with the car. Good Luck and let me know if you have any questions.

Everyone should listen to Clark Howard on AM radio (except when it comes to his car advice, he'd prefer a used POS that cost a dime then something of quality). The man lives for EBay deals, and knows about (and how to avoid) every scam on the face of the earth.
