Looking for a 1980s mercedes but need help!

well, im looking for a 1980'ish mercedes to begin. I want a nice one but not sure which model was the top model at the time. If anyone knows it would be much appricated. Im looking for one that has this genral look...http://www.angelfire.com/al3/alfie/benz/95e300d.jpg

That looks like a 300E. If you want an 80s Diesel in that style, it was only available in 87 as the 300D sedan and 300TD wagon.

Look on ebay.

They are arranged according to model.
190-200-300 and on...on.

Once you choose the model then choose
a year.

Many pictures, many hours of searching
fun.

Top of the line? Well just find an AMG Hammer, a revamped 300E, and you'll have one of the true supercars from the period. A four door sedan that could pass a Countach!
