Stalling at lights.

I have an 1998 E200 auto with 63k miles on clock.I have been very happy with car until now. 3 times in the last 3 weeks the car has stalled (cut out ) as i was about to move away from traffic lights. has anyone had this happen to them or do they know the solution.

Thank you.

RE: Stalling at lights.

What are the revs as you are at the lights.. is the car jumpy or lumpy trough the trans.. was it uphill or on the flat..

Torque isn't cheap

If the fuel filter is still the original

if might be time to change it.

RE: Stalling at lights.

Got car back from garage today. They re set throttlebody (whatever that is) . Running a lot better, but the odd time ,as i throttle the revs drop below 400 and stalls. When i am at a standstill the revs are normally about 600. All this is on flat roads not hills.

Thank you for your previous suggestions.
