Dealer Invoice price

I am looking at a 2005 E320 which lists at ~$60,000.00 with the options I have selected. My question is what is a reasonable discount to expect from the dealer? The dealer is offering 2% and stating that is a "generous" discount. I was thinking of a 5-7% discount. Am I expecting too much?

RE: Dealer Invoice price

I had an 01E320 I told them two thousand off sticker plus the CD player. no problem. you have to stick to your guns when dealing with dealers. don't back down or tell them your going down the street to the other dealer. my Brooklyn attitude seems to work here in FL.

RE: Dealer Invoice price

just be patient and buy a new used one and you'll do allright. your gonna take it in the A$$ paying new any way so if your set on new than just buy it. dealers are in used ones $4000 back of whole sale so you have a lot of room on one of those!
