YES! I did play PB and it is spectacular. I hooked a shot off of one of the fairways and it went over a cliff and landed in the middle of a bunch of sea lions lounging at the bottom. I think I hit one but they seemed oblivious to it and to those of us looking down at them.

Don't believe everything you think

well you and I will have to hit a round of golf there sometime then. I would be thrilled, but we'd have to take our time so I can take pictures lol, but maybe not....I know how it is, gotta keep it moving lol

Golf here is great, cheap green fees, my Dad lives 20mins from the city and just across from the family farm is a course there is never anyone there except Saturday which is club day, seriously alot of the time I have the entire 18 holes to myself and my playing partner.

San Francisco.

I am a 2nd generation San Francisco native and have been fortunate to have lived there for over 25 years, but don't any more, but I guess I know it pretty well. Tough to own a car in, especially big or nice ones, though I always had one there. It's more a town for walking or just grabbing the bus or subway. the cosmopolitan flavor, fantastic ethnic dining (Peruvian, Cambodian, Nicaraguan, Polish, Croatian, French, Vietnamese, Thai, Greek, North Italian, Moroccan, etc.) restuarants not to be missed, then there is the Film festivals, neighborhood street fairs, opera, etc.) different to actually live and work there than being a tourist - but it's almost ungovernable, all the competing special interests there.

And great jumping off place for tours to the wine Country of Napa Valley, or Carmel & Monterey to the South, thePebble Beach Concours is always a lot of fun, last time I went there Phil Hill was there and so was Jay Leno (though I didn't know who he was) and always a good time to be had there, though the weather is CHILLY almost 365 days a year there.
