Central Door Lock Problem. MB320E

Hello everyone,

Glad I found this place[:)]
We own a 1994 MB 320E Coupe.

At first, the central locking system and seatbelt system stopped working when the car was hot. (could be a coincidence...) Now the central locking system is out completely. It also seems to affect the seatbelt system (intermittently), the alarm (goes off opening the trunk because the driver side is still locked), etc.

When re-starting the car (engine still hot), we get a lot of humidity blown into the cab and the front windshield fogs up. Is that normal?

And last but not least, I am looking for the oval plastic clip that screws into the roof and lets the driver side sunvisor swivel. I know I can buy the whole sunvisor assembly. Seems such a waste when I only need that tiny plastic part [:)]

Thanks in advance for your help!

RE: Central Door Lock Problem. MB320E

the sun visor will have to be a new one but try the breakers first, alarm going when driver door locked is normal when opening the trunk "this is a set up on the remote key fob" the rest seems to be a bad earth problem or possible recall i would check it out, i dont thinke its a heat related problem with the engine more like a bad earth getting hot and loseing contact then cooling and working again "not engine heat related"
