RE: Mercedes-Benz C220 Help

C class mercs can have one of four diesel engines. There's a 200, a 220, a 250, and a 270. The 220 & 250 were in the W202 (rectangular headlight) model, and the 200, 220 and 270 are in the W203 (peanut headlight) model. If you are REALLY unlucky you wind up with the turbo-less versions, which make a Zastava look nippy; by contrast, the 220CDi C-class is a superb choice, and the 270 (5 cylinder) is a complete dragster.

97 SLK (40k, Yellowstone, partner's car!) 200 Bhp
03 A210 AMG (Black/Black, 63k, project rescue car) 140 Bhp

...I make that 917 Bhp...!

the C-class in the US was never available in Diesel dress... which is a shame, those diesels are GREAT (except for the slooooooow 1993-1996 C200 Diesel)

Hello guys !
I newly bought a C 220 Diesel 2.2 16V D OM601 S4 95 PS (70 kW; 94 hp) and think that it consume quite much for a diesel engines car!
According to my estimation it does consume 8,5 - 9 liters per 100 km in urban driving.
Do anyone of you have the car with the same engine and how much does it consume both urban and non-urban driving ?

kevinmr2 - how much does your MB consume ?

Thank you in advance !
