RE: reliabilty...

you only get out what you put in, discard the service and standard check ups and you pay the price, all makes of car are the same, to keep it right you MUST put effort in "i have seen skoda last longer than mbs because he loved the car" pride is the answer

RE: reliabilty...

Well its funny! My friends who repair at BMW say they rather get a Benz or a Lexus. My friends at Lexus rather buy a Benz or a BMW. And same goes for the techs at Benz, they rather get a BMW or a Lexus. Sometimes the grass looks greener on the other side i guess. I still love my Benz!

RE: reliabilty...

Based on my research and preference, for both reliability and drivibility my next car will probably be a Mercedes 300CE (103 motor) or a Lexus SC300. In either case, I'm keeping the 1979 Mercedes 280CE forever.

I've recently ask a couple of Mercedes shop owners, for their recommendation on the Mercedes with the best combination of reliability and driveability. They both recommended the car they drive - a Mercedes-Benz 300E.

Yeah, i think my next car is going to be a 2006 Lexus GS430. I think that its a cool looking car with great performance and luxury. Although I would love to get an E55. Either way, for now I love my Mercedes!
