RE: Mercedes-Benz is powering up ... Saying bye bye to superchargers
Hi there [:)]
E300POS: you are talking about MB reliability?? then sorry but I dont agree !!!
Complex systems usually suffer from electronic failures from time to time. It is just the reality you cannot compare an MB or an AUDI with a Hundai or a Toyota or even a Lexus. Complex cars contain many embeded systems that work together to make our life easier. There is one way to keep your complex system(car) with minimum failures - take it to services on a regular basis coz most of the electronic failures are caused by cheap sinsors. I have a '03 E320 Avanguard and I did not have any single problem with it that counts. I take it to service every 30,000km.
Catboy & jmvellis: I like superchargers and turbochargers but having a N/A engine is more attractive to me [:I]
Storm: the 3.5l engine that will appear in the E350, C350, CLK350 and SLK 350 is different than the current 3.7l engine that appears in the current S350 and ML350
