RE: Looking To Buy 2001 Clk 430... Any Help?
It does indeed have that feature. A most all the models do.
CLK problems. Consistant ones that I see a lot at work are, seat frames grinding, warping, making horrible noises. Window noises on up/down, in cold weather. Problems with the rollbar (rear headrests on convertables) seperating from the motors, and not going up/down. A/C cooling problem. 13 pin transmission connector socket leaking, very common on cars with the 722.6 transmission. Catalysts breaking apart inside, and creating rattles in the exhaust. Door control modules going out, creating the window drop-down on express closing, also known and "bouncing", and many others that I cannot think of. But on the upside, most of those repairs are easy to do.[:)]
