winter driving

I just became the pround owner of my first MB, a 2000 SLK 230 with 18000 miles (traded a 2002 Miata plus a little cash for it.) My question is; how does the car handle in the winter. I live in New Hampshire and we do get quite a bit of snow in the winter months. Right now the Kompressor has Michelin mud and snow tires on it. Are these tires good enough or should I go to a straight snow tire or plan on putting the car up for the winter. Please help.

Thanks for any advice you can give.

RE: winter driving

Welcome to the club!
1. Check this site
2. There is SLK(R170) forums on this website - look thru archives - tires were discussed many times.
