Pictures of my 450SL

Here are are recent pics of my 1980 450SL.
1. Alpine sound system (cd changer, amp and speakers)
2. Nardi wood steering wheel(installed yesterday)
3. Euro spec rear spoiler
4. Wheels (18"x8") made by Eurotech
5. Tires (235/40/18)
6. K&N Filter
7. Leather rear jump seat kit.(Ordered last week)

Wow. Gotta like that Polish and Wax job. You'll have to share with us how you got the car looking that way. What combination of stuff did you use.

Thanks for the compliments. The products used for the paint finish are unknown to me. My friend is a proffesional detailer. All the cointainers he used were unmarked.[:)] He went over the car with clay then to a cutting agent then to a polish using a buffer.He also used a chrome wax on the trim and a rubber restorer and protectant on all black rubber pieces. All the carpeting was steam cleaned and new MB mats installed. I used Mcguires leather cleaner and conditioner on the interior. Just installed a Nardi wood steering wheel and hub. Ordered the leather rear jump seats. My next project will be to install new springs and blistein HD shocks.

Wow....beautiful machine breataking.

I would have chosen a less chrome looking wheel for myself, a wheel with a serious lip but was simple in the center and had a grey finish in the center.

But congrats on a sweet SL
