if you want to know where is the quality just crask one,I own a 300cdt and 300tdt and a 2000 ford excursion diesel, I nener wanted a c`ar w/ a computer in it, I do all my own reapirs and emissions be damed the cars always make sence when one brakes down, there is no logic on the ford nice diesel but it left my wife 3 times on the side of the highway and all 3 times I bailed her out w the older benzes.There is no new car I want to buy, I will always have a benz diesel untill there is no more or untill "big brother" starts outlawing safe cars.

Hello everybody
Mercedes threatened to take over all dealerships in the UK about a year ago, this would mean you would be buying your car staight from the manufacturer, sounds good but never happened. My local dealer was taken over by a VW/Audi dealer, one that I had trouble with when buying a car for my daughter, now when I phone I am lucky to get anyone to answer, so the question I ask is do the rubbish dealers drag down the cars or vice versa like the chicken and the egg - which came first. Another problem I have is that the VW/Audi took over all the local MB garages so if I want to buy a merc but not from them I have to travel a fair way to get a decent result even that may not work out.
Oh, one other thing is that they never return my calls, I end up doing the chasing (but not anymore).
