This might be a stupid question but why doesnt MB offer 4Matic on their AMG vehicles..

I dont know for sure but probably because it would add a lot of weight and cut down on their 0-60 acceleration speeds. Plus with 4Matic you cant do wild and crazy burn outs or sweet e-brake slides as well. I guess the G55 and ML55 are the only 4WD AMG's.

I think I once read something about it cant handle the torque. That sounds dumb to me though. I heard amg is coming out with its own awd system.

I think it's because there is not enough room because of the larger AMG suspension.

Its the torque, but if MB keeps up with its horsepower madness, they'll have to switch to AWD just to have traction.
