Black Mercedes

Can anyone tell me how to "finnish" my wash job? After washing and using a shammy or soft cotton rag I still can't get the smudges out. Blacks a tough color, it looks good till you look at a different angle, then rub some more. I can't get it to look like it did from the dealer. I've seen detail guys use a spray bottle to "finnish" the job but don't know what they're using. Thanks for any help, I love my new car.

RE: Black Mercedes

try using meguires or mothers detailing spray, for fingerprints, and stuff, then you can go to meguires paint cleaner, works great on my 02 cl 500. good luck

RE: Black Mercedes

All my cars except the ones in the UAE & my E280 are black. They all look better than new. I'd say go for "Auto glym", its used by all major manufacturers at the geneva car show, so something must be good about the stuff.

It takes forever to apply and remove, but its worth it, and lasts ages.
