RE: FYI - Interesting Stories

After reading some of those stories, I'm almost afraid to own an MB.....I said almost.

RE: FYI - Interesting Stories

OK! OK! I’ve read enough! I'll never buy a new Mercedes!!![:0]

But seriously, all of the comments I read (if true, and let’s assume them to be true for the time being) had to do with some crazy, space age, 24th century gizmo. DC needs to step back, take a breath, get a grip, and start building simple, reliable, tough old cars like they did back in the 80s (can we say w123?). And no wonder the dealers haven’t got a clue what to do! They don’t know how to fix the crazy stuff DC puts in the cars, poor guys![V]

RE: FYI - Interesting Stories

For every horror story there are 50 owners who have had a perfect experience (at least from owning a car perspective). I have a friend who purchased a $59,000 Lexus, the story makes this story pale in comparison. Caveat Emptor !
