2003 E500 3100 miles. I experienced comoplete failure of my electrical systems while driving on a busy street in Las Vegas yesterday. Suddenly the warming lights flashed red and I had no brakes--not even back up. I had the pedal to the floor and was still rolling. Car seedmed to suddenly misfire, too. Emergency response was slow. Service departments said last night that they never heard of this before. Anyone have any stories to share. Could have been a disaster. Is this a lemon?
