Well, for me this car is invaluble. However I was wondering what is the real value for it. It is of course not in blue book. It is a 1982 500sec. It was imported by an individual in 1985 and has its customs papers. It is in EXCELLENT shape all it needs is a bit of paint, the clear coat is peeling a bit. Interior is perfect, runs beautiful. You might get better responses by posting this in the W126 forum. FWIW, it's kind of hard to pin down an accurate value on these older Mercedes. I've seen asking and selling prices vary on cars like mine anywhere from just under $5K to $12K. http://www.benzworld.org/forums/foru...iew.asp?fid=12
