Being a commercial photographer, located in Northern NJ, Mercedes Benz was one of our accounts. Their North American headquarters is located in Montvale, NJ, about 10 minutes away. We rarely photographed the cars, but did most of the parts and accessories photography, both for their catalogs as well as sell sheets. Things like radios, dash boards, botique items, models, clothing, etc. Up for auction is our archive of all the images that were taken between June, 1981 thru October, 1991. There are between 90 - 100 job envelopes. Each envelope is dated and contains our copies of the images for that assignment. The majority are 4x5 color transparencies, but also include 4x5 negatives, both B&W and color, roll film transparencies and negatives, B&W and color, and some 35mm slides. All executive portraits have been removed, photographs of all the hard parts remain. This is an absolute treasure chest of material for the Mercedes Benz enthusiast.
