Give up. You claim the seat was deformed by the seatbelt I call bullsh*t on that one, the seat is deformed on the inside not the outside of the back, the seatbelt is mounted on the outside so the seat was deformed by the rear seat passenger on the way through to the windscreen. Your own test proved the airbags worked as designed, remember the airbag is a supplemental restraint system and works best when the occupants are wearing seatbelts. Something the Mercedes claim you were not. What does the police report say about seatbelts? Where is the proof you were wearing the seatbelts? Where is the photo of the staples in the back of your head? As for the airbag punting you into the moonroof, if you had the seatbelt on you would not have hit the roof as the belt would have been accross your lap and held you down.

So you lost your lawsuit and now you are going to bad mouth AMG at any and every chance you get, are you hoping they will pay you to keep quiet?

Enough is enough, no real proof, you lost. Get some real proof and try again in court not here.

There is one more thing I would like to add to that. The airbags are indeed a supplemental restraint system, they are meant to work with seatbelts. But suppose the airbag has malfunctioned and was delayed in its firing. It would not have punted you into the sunroof, it would have killed you, simple as that. Airbags aren't inflated with compressed air, they are inflated by an explosion, an explosion strong enough to kill if the airbag is delayed by an amount of time as small as 7 hundredths of a second. And that mercedes logo on the back of your head is just really dumb, it was clearly shaved in. Where the hell is there even a solid mercedes star between the car and the back of your head? Just accept the fact that the car saved your life, and move on with it.

+1. Also, we gave up talking because there is no convincing the OP of anything else.

In my, granted unimportant, opinion this all misses the point. I have an e63 S-AMG Wagon... Yes wagon. How useless is that, right? What's the point.
Well, if you don't see the point, which has nothing to do with anything debated here, so be it.
My wagon is just about one thing to me. Fun... Pure and simple fun.
Keep them coming, AMG. There's plenty of us around who get it. Who don't want a 5lb ricer with fart pipes.
