G'day folks,
Appreciate one of you Merc genius' listing the post 2000 year models fitted with a supercharged 5 or 5.5 litre V8.
I think some of these jiggers are the E55 and the CL but
a) are there others and
b) does Merc produce a V8 supercharged CLK.
I bet this has been asked a hundred times but I cannot find the threads.
Cheers,
Allen.
Mizx is correct. The 55 engine is a V8 Kompressor engine and started in 2003 and ended in 2006. This engine was used in SLK (detuned version), E, S and CL Class cars. Also G55 has the same engine.

W211 E, W215 CL, R230 SL, W220 S, SLR McLaren, W463 G, and the C219 CLS use(d) the 5.5L Kompressor V8. The W203 C, W163 ML, W209 CLK, and R171 SLK used the N/A 5.5L V8. The only models still available with the Kompressor are the G and SLR McLaren.
There never was the Kompressor AMG CLK. The only AMG engines in the CLK have been the N/A 5.5L V8 and the N/A 6.3L V8.
