Hello all, I have a 2005 e55 with roughly 45k miles, my warranty will be ending soon and I have an opportunity to extend my warranty to 100k miles for $8000. I was curious to know if this is worth getting, I have yet to have any issues with my car and I feel these are overall very stable machines, I wanted to get feedback from the community on first hand experience with any issues.

What is the timeframe of the 100K extended warranty at $8K? Seems like you are driving your E55 about 9K miles per year(2005 with 45K miles now).

If your driving habits will remain the same, see if the allowed time for the warranty is worth it. For my S55, it was $3,000 for 2 extra years of CPO warranty, so $8K seems a bit high.

Also, get something in writing from them as to what exactly is covered, most of them are Power train only and do not cover anything else, like windows not working, etc.

Do not buy the warranty unless its the MBCPO warranty. The Aftermarket warranty company's are a pain to deal with and most of the time a lot of the repairs are not covered. 8k sounds kinda pricey to me thogh.
