32slk amg loss of power

Hi guys

Just joined this forum today, and am a bit new with this kind of thing...

I'm based in South Africa - Cape Town

Just bought a 2002 SLK32 AMG, she drove fine for a month, then one day as I was climbing up the highway, as I kicked the pedal to power on, the car held back and I find myself crawling at city cruise speeds, my tiptronic gear box also didn't seem to work anymore. Basically everytime the car heats up, she looses power. Took the car to two garages, the first assessor said that the Vacuum Transducer was shot (so the computer said), and the second service centre (a dedicated Merc repair centre) said that the aux water pump was the culpit. Had the water pump replaced and took it today for a spin, still the same problem persist!!!
Took the car back to the work shop and told them to get their act together! Did anyone experience this, can anyone help?

yes! same thing ( i hope) you may have read about this the problem? try the inner cooler water pump for the kompressor it seem to be going out and when it happens you feel like your running on 150hp good luck
