I am looking for 280GE performance characteristics; this would be a plot of torque vs. rpm, power vs. rpm AND a fuel map, in other words how much fuel is used at what rpm and load. Any idea where this can be obtained?

Can't help you with the power and torque but I can say that it is a G and therefore fuel consumption is higher than you really wish to know[B)][;)].

I don't know where you'd get the fuel map. But here's the manual page on power for the M110 in the 280GE.
