I have a 460 but have the option to buy 463 (60,000 miles on the clock)parts i,e both axles,300GE engine, auto box, and TC for £1600. Now can I fit 463 axles on to 460 or do I need to use 463 TC as well??. I think I will keep 280 engine and gearbox and just use axles.

463 axle is an 1" wider than 460 so would I have any trouble fitting axles straight onto my 460. Someone told me that I would need to use 463 TC as well as one of the axle diff goes in different rotation to 460.

I know, why, I want wider axles and possible permanant 4x4. Any one know what problems I might come up against [:X]

The 463 front drive shaft rotates in the opposite direction as the 460. You will need the 463 TC.
