tire rack is showing winter tires for the 265/60-18.
they are blizzaks with a cost of $143 each.
While it is supposed to be an excellent tire for snow and ice, I've heard that they wear VERY quickly on pavement; and are not a good choice for off road.
Someone feel free to step in with a correction, if I'm wrong; as I'm going strictly on hearsay evidence for this.

they are extremely soft, but they stick on ice and snow. they are extremely quiet and handle extremely well in all conditions including high speed at higher temps.
the wear has never been a big issue for me since i rotate every 2,000 miles and always watch pressure.
the problem is i run into...once i put the tires on, it doesn't snow.
when the temp drops below 40 degrees, my original tires go out of round and need several miles to warm them up to proper shape. the steering vibrates extremely harsh until they warm up.
i live in a mountainous part of PA. the g definitely can go in snow, but when it comes to stopping and turns on ice and hard pack i am concerned.

I run the 16" most of the time. However, I sometimes put on the 18" for road trips in warmer weather if I don't expect to do any wheelin' for a while.
I use siped 265/75/16 BFG MT KMs on G320 wheels.
These tires are perhaps a little too aggressive for most people, but I really like them. The extra traction is phenominal. It really is amazing what a difference a tire change can make. I've always felt that tires are THE most important part of a vehicle.
Pros:
Much better traction in challenging terrain and conditions
More comfortable ride (more rubber and air, less metal)
More durable
Less stress on vehicle and driver
Cons:
Louder
Harder to balance
Greater fuel consumption (about .25-1 mpg loss on the road vs. the stock slicks depending on speed and conditions)
