You can sell anything on eBay...

PDF manuals for the IFAV trucks. Aren't these freely posted on the web somewhere?

identical material

just contacted the seller - the stuff he is selling is indeed the same material that is posted on the IFAV site.

Clever to ask money for something that is available for free. But then why not - the infos are pretty valuable to owners of 290GTD.

Did they never notice that it's the wrong PDF they have on their site?

Or do the front axles never break??? :-)

Frank, Long time no see! How is your ambulance doing? Is it fully restored? Glad to see you.

I'm back and it's good to be back

Hello Dutch,

Well, my car is running fine. It just runs and runs... no leaks whatsover.
Actually very boring after 5 years of Land Rover misery...
I've done almost 40000km now in 15 months. Just the regular maintenance. 1 time valve adjustment(have to do that again soon), 5 times oilchange.
I've also tested driving on plantoil and that works just great! No changes had to be made. Runs great, but you will have to live with the BBQ-smell.:D

Only one bad thing: here and there new rust marks. :(

The interior in the back is still the same, the absolute minimum.
Just a woodplate on the floor.

We're rebuilding our house at the moment and that is more important than G-stuff. That's a reason why you don't see me here very often anymore.

Greetings from Belgium,
Frank

Please don't stay away so long. You have much good to contribute here; and we missed your messages with good information. Good luck on the house rebuild!

Repair History

In looking into the repair history, it is interesting to note that the radiator shroud was at one time removed from all units in service resulting in radiator overheating. Directive was given to re-install on all units!
