New tires

No winch bumper yet, should be ready by the end of the week though, but I did mount the bigger tires today. They are 285/75-16's, roughly 33x11-16. they look pretty good, though I expected them to look bigger. They don't seem to be much, if any, louder than my Mich LTX A/T's. Of course it is pretty windy today, so the wind is pretty much all you hear in the G[8D]

That looks great!

That's really sharp looking with the new hides. It looks like you'll be ready to hit Holy Cross in a month. Can't wait to see it in person.

The rest of the mods

I am pretty anxious to see what it looks like with the winch up front too! Seeing it without the bumper makes me want to trim those flares up but, I know once the bumper is back on it would have been pointless. I am up to 11"s under the front diff and just over 14"s under the axle tube. Here is the current front view

I know what you mean

When I took the front bumper off I couldn't stand the idea of adding all that clearance stealing bumper back on... so I made one that wasn't as bad. The flairs are nice though, I'm going to have to find a way to fit some back on mine.

its snowing up there already??

Tell me those are last years pictures!

I would trim mine up like that but, I am still going to have the stock 463 bumper up there. The flares protect the back side of the bumper where the fog lights reside. They will also help keep the brine they spread on the roads away from the steel bumper.[:0]

Yes, they are last year's pictures. Actually, we are emjoying very nice weather now, about 30C.

The trimmed flairs don't offer much benefit to me right now with the stock bumper (besides they were cut by the PO) but I plan to make a new bumper this winter and it should have some benefit then.
