Front Hub Sealing Ring Holder

Have been trying in vain to get the hub sealing ring holder part number as shown in image. Went to MB agent - they managed to get me a part which they say replaces the holder - a cellular polyurethane ring.

Would appreciate some help. Coincidently I had damaged the holder due to excessive insertion and removals

Thanks

When I did this job 2 years ago, I ended up with two part numbers:

- 4603340020 (Hub Seal)
- 4603340259 (Seal Ring)

4603340259 is what was shipped to me by Europa and it worked just fine. What I don't know is if the source of the number was in error or if both parts work and one has been superceded.

According to the EPC

-00.20 is the "end cover, wheel hub" This is the part our friend needs.

-02.59 is the "seal ring, wheel hub", the part he was sent by mistake.

Although, if youreplace the .20, then the .59 should be replaced as well.

Use extreme care not to overheat things, or nick the hub when using the grinder method to remove the inner race of the outer bearing as in the picture.
