OK, the G now has 23,000 miles and the wear bars are beginning to show on the OE Yoko's. I have decided that I like the rims and wish to stay as near stock as possible. Does any one have any recommendations for a tire that has good lousy weather traction? I like the Yoko's in everything except snow and slush. Any tires and what sizes?

Don't know what tires in USA are available in 18'', but here the OE Yokohama is the best All round tire in this size by far.
It was never made for snow and slush, it is not bad in it, but it is more or less a All Season tire.
When you have problems with snow, then I would recommend to change the tire, there are a few in 18'' available, my favourite one is the Michelin Alpin in 235-65-18, the ultimate choice for the 7,5x18 rim.
Maybe you find something better in your country, otherwise you have to go to the 16'' rim.
There you have more than enough choices.
