Let me introduce my W460

Hi guys, I'm from Ukraine. This year hope will move in USA. Planning to bring my G Wagon in US. It's 1985 non turbo diesel OM617. Proud to have it. In Ukraine and Russia we using G's because it's very good and reliable vehicle.
Good to know that it's possible to import in USA.
I put a lot of hard work in my car, so do not want to sell it now.

Hi guys. Little bit of my G story.
Bought it in march 2010. The G was in very good condition, but 1000 miles from my home. The seller said that I have to send him 100$ to make registration clear and prepare for me. I do not know why, but I trust this guy. For my question “why You selling car� he said that after Hammer H2 he can’t drive natural diesel (to slow and 88hp). For it was perfect, simple Mercedes G, best and most powerful engine of 80s.

It took me all night by train and whole day by bus to get to the guy I never seen before. It was already late evening he met me in my G wagon. I was very excited and after 20 minutes I was going straight home. After 16 hours I arrived (driving was perfect). Except I get a ticket for speeding in the morning. But after whole night driving I didn’t care, I was so tired.
After I bought my G Wagon for this two years a spent already 10000$ for renewing and fixing. All parts is original. But truly Mercedes G worth it.
I check and replace almost everything. Big projects was: painting; engine overhaul (OM617) did it by my self.
And now I bought seats from G500 2006. Black leather in very good condition almost like new. Everything is working. My friend fitting seats with my help. Front seats we fit easily but for the rear seats we make all new attaching and fastening. But we did it and now have to paint front instrumental box and back attaching.
