I seem to have lost my last message as I attempted to proof read it...<p>Anyway, great news about the U joints. Finding the male end of the slip joint can't be that difficult. I have been about to buy the flange portion.<p>I am writting to ask about the constant velocity joints. What are the symptoms of these in early trouble. I know about the color of grease change int he ball-scraper area - changes to a black-gray or at lease a different color than that used in the ball.<p>Are there early sounds or other symptoms that one might begin to hear if the rubber boots have failed and the grease was spinning out from around the c/v joint? <p>Thoughts?<p>Tom<br><p>
