Wheel sizes '84 280GE

On my restau 'G' project , i've discoverd a slight problem with the wheels, the distance between te steering ball joint and the inside of the rim, is less than 2 millimeter... these wheels were mounted on the car when it was bought.

On the inside of both front wheels, (picture) the outside edge is damaged, probably due to dirt and other stuff wich jammed itself in between the linkage and the rim.

So i figure that these wheel's are no good. perhaps w463 modells?

Scrolling down the collection of wheels there are several ET value's... with and without the use of spacers.

Can someone tell me what kind of wheels i should buy (what size) for use without spacers, and enough clearance at the steering hub?

Thnx!!!

Reinier.

You MUST use spacers of 25mm minimum with that wheels.
