Since my Clutch Master Cylinder died last week, I did the flush as part of my Differential Diagnosis Tree just to make sure it was not a bubble causing the trouble.
And, since I was doing the work, thought I would post it to help my fellow novices.
I like to flush the Diff's AND Clutch each time I flush the brakes, which FOR ME is ONCE A YEAR (due to our horrible humidity and heat). I know MBUSA recommends every TWO years, but interestingly, MB in my European WIS says YEARLY!!
Anyhooo, I am not pointing fingers at Castrol GTLMA, but it seems awefully "Coincidental" withing ONE YEAR of switching to Castrol, my Master Cylinder Rubber Seals were TRASHED! (Pic in Upcoming Post for Master Cylinder Rebuild). I know you guys claim it is "easier" on the rubber......... Hmmmmmm,,,,,
