I heard from two sources they exist, but who makes them (made them?)
Any help will be appreciated.

Voight in Stuttgart makes them. I think that is the correct spelling. I think they were 5,000 euros for 2 tanks. Mine came with them installed.

Nugat: sorry: the name is Woick. Go to Bernd Woick GmbH - OUTDOOR | TREKKING | ABENTEUER - Garmin, Maggiolina, Dachzelte, GPS, Navigation und mehr für Globetrotter, Backpacker und alle Reisefreunde.

My tanks are made by them and they are in Stuttgart,

Thanks for the link. 5000! wow! Anyway, could not find them on their line of products. Maybe not offered any more?
Do they limit your cars offroad ability in any way (articulation etc)?

Nugat: I saw them in the Voick magazine a few years agoand they were 5,000 euros for 2. You can ask for one by emailing them. The tanks are tucked up between the frame rails but when filled they are heavy. They fill by gravity feed from the main tank and are pumped by an electric pump into the main tank when need. They do slow the vehicle down. If you take the weight of gas by litre times the size of the tank plus the tank weight it gives you an idea of the extra weight you are carrying.
Unless you are doing a safari across the desert in Africa as mine did, the 3 regular tanks are fine.
