3rd seat for G500?

I might just be too lazy to do the 3rd seat retrofit. I highly prefer the G, but maybe I should shift my sights to the GL.

Grady,

Fellow forum members Patrick / Regina installed 3rd row seats in their Geländewagen from a company called Little passenger seats. They stated that the seat does not fold, but it can be easily removed.

There is not an member that has currently installed LR jumpseats in the cargo area of the G-Wagen.

Your best option is just to purchase Mercedes-Benz OEM G-Wagen jumpseats from "FourbyFourclub" that provides all the direction on how to install them in your G-Wagen.

Vlad, the owner of "FourbyFourclub" is very helpful and I am speaking from experiance, because I currently own 2 G-Wagens (1995 G320 and BRABUS G36-photo attached) and with his help I now have G-Wagen jumpseats in both of my vehicles.

First G-Wagen is a 1997 G320 AMG.

seats

Original, authentic Brabus 2 piece wheels
audiophile sound system with 3 McIntosh Labs amps, dynaudio speakers,

Do those jump seats come with factory over the shoulder seat belts? From the looks of the picture they are only lap belts?

they don't come with lap belts either but they are easily added and i think the eurotruck and fourbyfourclub both sell the seat belts with them.

FOr reference sake, they aren't crash tested either... they're for "putting your boots on" in the back of the truck so you don't make a mess in the rest of the truck. THey use something very similar in some of the military trucks and they're solidly built, but they don't come with all the bells and whistles of most 3rd row seat options.

Good information guys, I think I will have to move over to the ML63 because you can buy a real 3rd row seat with shoulder belts for it.

You do realize the height and general space in the cargo area of an ML is much smaller than the G. If you want lots of 3rd row area, why not just get a GL550?
