I think everybody would like to know more detalis. I know this bodystyle is availible in Europe. Is this one of those trucks converted to look like a IFAV or you are a part of US-military personel ? What engine does it have?

Well my one is the real thing.
The engine is the 290TD intercooled with a four speed automatic transmission.

I have never seen a IFAV replica, but I have seen some trucks looking very similar. Only some details are different. How old is your truck? I am asking because I wanted to buy a G with a 290 turbodiesel, but my dealer told me they are no longer in production. I told him, that the US Army(or is ti USMC?) does have IFAVs with such engines, but he did not know anything about them.

Hey that´s a very interesting picture.

That´s correct the 290 Turbodiesel is no longer in production, the 270cdi is the actual engine for this kind of vehicles.
The USMC buyed the IFAV´s in 2000 with the 290TD, some years later they buyed again some IFAV´s but they had the 270cdi. You can see it on the different Airintake and the Exhaustpipe on the left side.
I don´t like cdi engines.
