Any of you been able to compare mpg with the 4 door? You probably accelerate just a tad faster due to the lighter weight? so you probably tend to keep your foot in it longer[:)]

Coldtaco,
I have a G-Cabrio convertible and I have tested the
mileage vs. my G320 4-door, and it recieved better
mileage.

Gas mileage, huh? Well it goes something like this. The short answer is that on the highway at 60 average (actually 58.9)in the swb I get 15.5 (over around 1800 miles). Last time I ran the lwb 1400 miles at the same average (59.7) I got 15.2. Vehicles are in great shape and no oil additives - though the swb is running redline and the lwb is running mobil 1. Exactly same tires and rims. Around NYC it is a dead heat at 9.7 to 10.1 mpg. Interestingly the city is lower in the swb. I think that is my fault as I keep my foot in it more because the exhaust sounds so sweet on the swb and so pathetic on the lwb. JMHO.
If you are still interested I have all the original paperwork sales receipt from Brabus that was sold for 175,000 U.S. dollars to the first owner in 1993, a Burmese Prince, by the name of Crown Prince Shwebomin http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shwebomin
