Front Springs for sale?

I am sure with all the lifting going on here @ the forum someone must have a front set of A460 321 02 04 Amber/Yellow springs for a W460 Cab that they would like to part with?

PM me with a price.

Thanks
Mark

RE: Front Springs for sale?

I have a pair of front springs. I have to check what type they are though....I'll try to remember and get back to you when I can check later tonight. Maybe someone else will help you out sooner.

Additionally I am a little confused about what the single, double and triple yellow stripes mean on the spring. Is it a little extra stiffness in the Yellow spring category. I cannot make heads or tails of the charts that I have found on the forum.

Can someone explain what the different stripes mean?

Thanks
Mark

from what i understand, the colour is the stiffness on the spring chart, then the number of stripes represents the deviation, three stripes is little stiffer, one strip is a little less stiff.

Thank you I thought it was something like that. For a diesel cab that should not require a very strong spring.

Not exactly. The chart shows what the length of a given color of spring will be when compressed by a given weight. The shape of the line will give you a hint as to the stiffness of the spring - flatter = stiffer. You are correct regarding the number of stripes.

What happen if you use yellow orange 1 strip in the left front side and yellow orange 3 strips in the right front side.
