The power steering pump that is currently on the vehicle is a manual one. A powered one would make driving much easier. I have access to one from a left hand drive GWAGEN from out of the States, but I have no idea if the bolt up pattern is the same as that of the right hand drive G.
It looks like the power steering box for all the 460s (I am guessing you have a 460) are the same part number: the earlier part was A461 460 00 01 repalced by A461 460 01 01 so in theory it should work.

I realize we've only heard one side of this story, but there has never been a rebuttal; and there's certainly been plenty of opportunity and time to do so.

Big mistake here: misread the EPC the 2 part numbers are for lhd & rhd so they are different and cant be swaped.
