Just a couple of Gs around Kingston, Jamaica. The blue G is a 1987 240GD which was converted to a 280G, of course, with a M110 engine. He also did 2 interesting modifications. The first was to use a 463 grill , adapting it to fit on his 460. It worked quite well. The other thing that I like is the centre star in the spare tire cover.
I would appreciated some feed-back on these modifications. Could make for interesting conversation with our small GWAGEN group in Jamaica.
I used to see G's on Grand Cayman, 320s, 500s, and Cabs. The MB dealer there was a very nice guy. If you ever need any part or other info, I am sure he is the guy to talk to. Enjoy...
I wish the silver one was mine. It's a very lovely 1996 320GE. It actually had a major fire under the hood, causing the owner to oder a new engine, required looms and neccessaries. It's up and running great. Mine is a SWB silver 300GD which is currently under-going an engine transplant. Should be out of surgery within two weeks. By then some new pics of more Gs will be posted.
